HeLLooo Everyone!.....
Today I am sharing with you the latest "Product Spotlight" from DeNami Design!
I'd like to introduce you to...... The Graduation Owl!
Isn't he just adorable??!!.... I sure do think so! He's perfect for this time of year, when so many students are finally graduating. I actually have a few friends and family members that will be graduating next month. Thus, I am super excited that DeNami has chosen to feature this image. The owl was so fun to work with! Here are a couple of graduation cards that I made.....
For my first card, I chose to stamp the owl four different times on kraft cardstock, and then once on just plain white cardstock. Then I colored in the image and decided to pop him up with dimensionals over one of the stamped owls on the kraft paper.
After I finished my initial card, I was left with a bunch of scraps from all of the trimming that I had done with my paper-trimmer. I had several strips of red and black, and so instead of throwing them all away... I decided to utilize them in this next card, where I weaved the strips together......
The picture above is a close-up shot of the weaving. So simple to do! And it's a great way to make use of your scraps and left over trimmings! :-)
Hope you enjoyed these graduation cards today! Be sure to stop by the DeNami blog for more information on the Graduation Owl and also several more examples and ideas on how to use him from the fabulous DT members!
Oh! And just a quick note.... I posted some questions yesterday afternoon on my blog. I wrote the post much later in the day than usual, so it really didn't get a chance to have it's "moment", since I have already added two more posts today! haha... I know, i'm such a dork! :) But anyways, if you're interested or have a free moment in your day, i'd love for you to check them out. You can read the post HERE. And please let me know if you happen to answer the same questions on your blog too. I'd love to read them, if you do!
Ok, well i'm off to start my day, and be "productive"...... hopefully!
Thanks so much for reading my blog today! Have a "Wonderful Wednesday"!.... Come back soon! :)
