Hi Everyone....
Today I am sharing a card that I made for the Three Cheers for Chairs Challenge in the Moxie Fab World and for the Wee Memories Challenge #5, which required the theme of "stitching".
I'm actually super excited about this particular card today. The reason is because this is my very FIRST time using stitching in one of my cards! Yup!... I finally did it! :) I've been admiring so many other people's creations with stitching and I have always wanted to try it on one of my projects. My grandmother bought me a sewing machine years ago, because I used to take sewing lessons when I was a little girl. However, that was so long ago, and I barely even remembered how to utilize a sewing machine! But luckily, I was able to figure it out for this card.
So, as you can see, I still need quite a bit of practice! I would have preferred for my zig-zags to be a bit straighter and I also need practice on what to do when I get to the end of the paper. Haha! I still need to work on those imperfections, but overall, I found this technique to be pretty easy and lots of fun! I'm sure you will be seeing lots more stitching in many of my future cards from now on. However, i'm still learning, so if any of you have any tips, I would LOVE for you to share them with me! Any comments or suggestions are always greatly appreciated!
Hope you are all enjoying your week! :)
