Hello Friends!...
I'm back again to share another "non-card project" with you all. Since these months are so popular for graduations for many of our loved-ones, I decided to break out the fabulous "Graduation Owl" again from DeNami Design. I actually made this project last month, however I have not gotten around to posting it until today. You may recall seeing a couple of my previous cards with this same image from last month on my blog. If you'd like to see those cards, you can check them out HERE.
So, for this particular project, this time I ended up making a "prize ribbon" for the graduate. I'm not sure if that is exactly what you would call it, but I couldn't quite think of a good name for it. Haha... So if you have any other suggestions, please pass them along!
Here is what the final product looks like......
It was super simple to make! I basically just did the ruffled ribbon technique, only I did it in a circular motion around a circle cut-out. I figured this could be a nice addition to a graduation card or gift. You could even place it on a gift and then just write a small note on the back of it. Or you could add a pin to the back, so that the recipient could wear it! :)
I thought about giving this to my brother, since he just recently graduated with his bachelor's degree. Butttt then I instantly changed my mind... because he's a "typical" GUY... and he wouldn't have been caught dead wearing this! Haha!
I'd also like to share this other graduation card that I had previously made last month as well, but I just hadn't posted it. I made the ribbon and this card at separate times, otherwise I would have made them match.
