Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday!
Today I have a fun card to share with you all, using the Hydrangea Cluster from DeNami Design. The design for this particular card comes from the sketch from Waltzingtonmouse Sketch Challenge #1 and the color combination is from Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #3.
This card was very simple to put together. I stamped the hydrangea flowers onto colored cardstock and then cut and paper-pieced it together. I'm not sure if you can see in these photos, but the brown piece of cardstock is popped up with dimensionals. As an extra element to the card, I also added some dry embossing to the brown layer for the Caardvarks: June Card Challenge.
Unlike my first card, instead of paper-piecing, this cluster image was colored using an ink blending tool.
Hope you all enjoyed viewing these cards today. The Hydrangea Cluster is actually one of my favorite DeNami images. I am usually drawn towards a lot of nature and flower stamps, so this one definitely caught my eye when I first saw it.
Just a quick reminder, the DeNami Product Challenge for "Templates" is currently still going on. I urge you all to participate, because it's definitely a fun and unique challenge! Instead of cards, the challenge is to create a project using a template, such as purses, gift boxes, etc. Just visit the DeNami blog for more information and ideas, and details on how to download your FREE template to use for the challenge. If you'd like to see my project for this challenge, you can view it HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I've said it before, and i'll say it again: Your visits are always so very much appreciated! Hope you all have a fabulous day!
