Good Morning Everyone & Happy Tuesday!....
I hope you all had a fun Memorial Day weekend! Today I wanted to share my final card that I made for the Embellish Butterflies Color Challenge. As I had stated in one of my previous posts, I absolutely fell in love with this required color combo. So when it came time to make up a card, I just couldn't stop myself from making more than one!
For this last entry (shown above) I used the big butterfly from "Inkadinkadoo". I stamped it three different times, in order to be able to make the wings pop up, as shown in the picture. However, for the top layer, I used black embossing powder and heated it, so that it would be raised and shiny. :) For the background, I stamped the sun rays from the "You're Dandy" set, from Practicing Creativity, in Versamark ink. I just loved the way they turned out! Then I just finished up the card by adding some faux stitching and a few rhinestones.

Did any of you do anything fun over the weekend? It was so nice to have Monday off. I really wish all weekends were 3-day weekends! Last night, my boyfriend and I sat down to watch the Disney movie: "Up". Have any of you seen it?... Yes, I know it has been out for a while now, and i'm probably one of the last people to finally watch it. Haha.... But ohhh, how I loved it! It was definitely one of the most adorable movies ever! It was also so sad in a few parts I actually cried in the beginning scene. LoL.... But it was such a CUTE movie, overall. So if you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend watching it!
