Hey Blog Friends,
Just sharing a quick card I made the other day, using the "Fancy Flourishes" set from Papertrey Ink. The sketch is from the CPS Sketch #174 and the colors combo is from the Curtain Call Color Challenge #37.
Do you see that flower embellishment at the top corner? I actually made that months ago! LoL... For a while I saw sooo many other stampers making their own paper flowers for their cards. I'm sure you all have seen them several times as well. But anyways, so I ended up making up a few for myself. I found an old book in my garage and tore out some sheets of paper to use for it. I think I made like three or four all together.... only I never ended up using any of them. I just made them and then stuck them in a drawer. Every time I tried to use one on a card, it just never seemed to fit or look right at the moment. But hopefully it looks okay on this card today. In order to stick with the color scheme, I simply just grabbed a pink button and stuck it in the center of the flower. Oh, and by the way... also, when I was making this card, I realized that I didn't have any yellow pearls. So all I did was use basic white pearls, only I colored them first with a yellow Copic marker. Hope you guys like it! :)
