Hi Friends!......
Hope you all are doing well. Today I'm just sharing a super quick and easy CAS card that I made up for the CWC014-"Bling It Up" Challenge. The challenge required us to use rhinestones or any type of "bling" within our project. I thought this would be a great chance to pull out a few of my various colors of rhinestones that I had in my collection. Did you know that DeNami Design is now carrying rhinestones??.... Yup! They are!... I was excited when I first found out, and I actually ended up ordering them in every single color!... Yeah, I guess you could say that i'm a little obsessed with rhinestones. LOL.....
So anyways.... my card today was based off of a previous card that I recently made, called the "Button Tree". You can check out the post for it HERE. I used the fun Large Winter Tree image for my card again. Only this time, instead of adding buttons to it, I decided to dress it up with rhinestones! :) Here's closer look below......
I even used some of the larger green rhinestones as "grass". :) Then I simply tied some black grosgrain ribbon with a bow at the top, and I also stamped the Mini Polka Dot image in random spots with Versamark, in order to fill in some of the empty space of the card.
Well I sure hope you all enjoyed this card today. Lately I have been SO busy with my new classes and with work, and also I've had family in town, so I haven't had as much time to craft. Thus, I was happy that I was able to make this card up so quickly.
I wanted to thank all of you who sent me comments about "feeling better" on my last post from yesterday. I have been feeling sick since this weekend and I guess I just caught a bad cold or something. My main complaint is my throat right now. It's just really sore, which is SUCH a big pain! :( But anyways, I just wanted to say THANKS for all the kind words! I have also been pretty behind with checking out all of your blogs lately. I hope to catch up on things later this week. But I just wanted to say how much I truly appreciate all of the comments that you guys leave me, or anyone who takes the time out of their day to read what I have to say. You guys are always so encouraging and your visits are so very appreciated! Thanks so much for being so awesome! :)
