Happy Saturday Everyone! Welcome to my blog! :)
Today I am participating in the Caring Hearts Blog Hop which was started by Vera Yates! She has invited a bunch of us to come together today in order to make holiday cards for the elderly that are currently living in a nursing homes, care centers and/or assisted living facilities.
This is such a great cause, and we hope to encourage YOU to also participate and make cards for this wonderful cause as well. So, I sure hope you'll find the time to hop along with us today! If you're visiting from Anna Keyes' blog then you're on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, just visit Vera's blog for a full list of all of the Blog Hop participants. Hope you enjoy!!
Both of my cards today feature the newly released Lawn Fawn set called "Cozy Christmas". I think this set is so fun and cheerful. So I thought it would be perfect for today's purpose!
My first card (above) involved quite a bit of coloring and cutting. But I enjoyed every bit of it and I think the result was pretty eye-pleasing. Hopefully you all will think so too! :) As for my second card (below), it was super simple to make and it is also the type of card that is quite easy to mass-produce. I will definitely be making a few more copies of this card to send in for the card-drive!
Well I hope you all enjoyed viewing my holiday cards today. I definitely had fun making them... and it felt even better knowing that it was being done for such a great cause!
Please be sure check out all of the other fabulous blogs that are participating in today's hop. Your next stop is the wonderful blog of: Belinda Chang Langner! <--- Her cards are always amazing! :)
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!
