Baby Elephant Card

Hello there friends!

Today I have new fun Product Spotlight Feature to share with you all from DeNami Design. This month, they are featuring this adorable little "Elephant" image. Isn't it so cute?!

I thought this little guy would be perfect for a "baby" theme card, so that's exactly what I did with him. Just paired him up with some fun "Polka-dots" and the "Baby Script", and that's about it!

Today I have another fun Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge to share with you all:

For my card I used the "Chickadee at Rest" image within the circle part. You may remember this image from one of my previous cards, which you can view here. This time, however, I decided to only use a portion of the image and then layer it onto the white doily.

Well, today I am just sharing a couple of DeNami Valentine's Day cards that I recently made using some of the latest images from the recent DeNami Release. If you haven't checked it out yet, you can view all of their new stamps on this page: HERE. 

There are tons of adorable heart images and sweet borders and sentiments to go along with the upcoming Valentine's Day theme too. Cute! Cute! Cute!... I hope you guys like what you see! Trust me, the new Hearts Set is so much fun to use!

I just love the way that you can overlap the images so that they fit inside of each other. It definitely allows for more options with one single stamp. Please let me know if you guys ever have any questions on the size, quality, or usage of any of the stamps that I use. The new DeNami images are so cute and fun. I just know you all won't be disappointed!

DeNami Scallops Blog Hop

For today's event, I made this fun little circle card using the little sailboat image from the newly released "Under the Sea" stamp set. The element of scallops can easily be seen around the general shape of the card and within the "waves" of the ocean scene that I created.

For those that have been following my blog lately, I am still feeling pretty "under the weather". I'm a little better, but not quite yet back to normal. Major dizziness and congestion have been my two main problem factors. Ugh!... But I've been trying to get lots of rest and i'm drinking a ton of fluids in order to fight this flu. So hopefully I'll get back to my cheerful self again, and I can start checking out all of your fun blog posts that I have been missing out on lately, due to this darn flu!

"You Are My Sunshine" II

I just wanted to say Thank You so much to those who have left comments on my previous post and on my Twitter account in regards to me being so sick lately. The past four days have been extremely rough on my body. I can't even remember the last time I have been this sick. I've been missing work and I lost a lot of weight in a short period of time, which is never good. I've been feeling so incredibly weak and drained. Yesterday I had started to feel like I was getting over things, but then in the middle of my day I started getting really sick again. This flu has definitely put me behind on a lot of things and I hate that. Sorry if I haven't been able to comment as much. I really haven't been doing much of anything at all. I'm in & out of sleep during the days due to medication, and when I do get up, I just feel really sick and end up having to lie back down again. It's horrible, and I really hope it's all over soon! But I just wanted you all to know that I really appreciated all of your comments. I read them on my phone and they made me smile. :)

Oh, before I end this post, I just wanted to mention one more thing. Many of you have probably already seen the news. But just in case you haven't... my sweet friend Laurel Beard just started her own challenge site. It's called: LAWNSCAPINGS! It's based upon using Lawnfawn images throughout the various challenges that are going to be coming up twice a month. If you follow my blog, then you already know that I'm a big fan of Lawnfawn, so I know this site is going to be lots of fun. I'm very excited for Laurel. Mermaid

Hello Everyone. I hope you all had an amazing New Year's Eve! I definitely did enjoy myself very much during NYE. However, I also ended up getting very sick the day after. My weekend was filled with lots of coughing, sneezing, chest pain, fever chills, body aches, and a serious sore throat. 

What a fun way to start the new year, huh??.... Yeah, umm... no.

I've been miserable throughout this weekend, and I've also been extremely unproductive (which I hate). Medicine just puts me to sleep, which caused me to take several naps during the past two days. Ugh! It's so NOT fun being sick! :(

Anyways.... I don't want to be a downer (although, I think it's too late), so i'll stop complaining now. Today's card is featuring this "Mermaid" image, from Repeat Impressions, which is the first Stamp of the Week for 2011. It's a quite unique image, being that I haven't really seen too many other companies with mermaid images. I actually added some aqua color Stickles to her fin, but it didn't show up that well in the photo. The shimmer looks really pretty in person, though.
