I absolutely love paper piecing and it just so happens that there are currently two challenges going on this week that have to do with "paper piecing"! I'm entering them both:
Lawnscapings Challenge #4: Paper Piecing and Paper Piecing Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I made this card using sets from one of my favorite companies: Lawn Fawn. I paper pieced the polka-dotted dress with the bow, from the "Sew Lovely" set, and then I used "Harold's ABC's" to make up my own sentiment.....
I figured "Be Original" would be something unique to use. Perhaps this could be a card for encouragement or it could be used to inspire someone to be bold and confident and to not be afraid to stand out from the crowd.
Hopefully you guys get the concept that I was going for! LoL
Anyways, I urge all of you to play along with these challenges too. Paper piecing is so fun and SO easy to do. So i'm sure you'll be able to come up with some fun creations!
Ok, well i'm off for the night. I'm very excited that I have the day off tomorrow and Friday too! I have some errands to run, but other than that, i'll be relaxing and hopefully getting some crafting done too.
