Ok, so I have something rather different to share on my blog today.... (hope you guys don't mind).
For those that have been following my blog for a while, you may recall THISpost from a few months ago, where I shared a video that I had made of my craft space, and I gave a tour of My WorkBox. Well, it just so happens that the "The Original Scrapbox" Company contacted me and asked if I would be interested in doing a review of one of thier other products called the Work Top. I have had various great experiences with this company in the past, so I was happy to take a shot at doing another video.
So, without further adieu, I'd like to share with you my Review Video, showing my thoughts and experiences over the past weeks with the "Work Top":
(If you are reading this post through email or through an RSS feed, you might have to click into the actual blog post in order to view the video. You can also view it on YouTube by clicking HERE.)
Ahhh! I still get super nervous watching and hearing myself in a video. LOL... Hopefully you guys enjoyed it and hopefully you all were able get a better understanding of what the Work Top is and what it can be utilized for.
And if you'd like more specific information about this piece or about the company, feel free to contact them through the email or phone number listed on thier Contact Page. Or you can visit the Scrapbox BLOG too!
Of course, you are also always more than welcome to email me as well, and I will try my best to help as best as I can.
Oh, and in addition to this video... I also have a fun little GIVEAWAY to share with you all too!
All you have to do, in order to be eligible to win, is leave me a comment on this post.
You can also get an extra entry if you sign up to follow my blog too. However, it's not mandatory.
I'll leave this giveaway open until next Thursday, July 21st at 11:59 pm. Any comments left after the deadline, will NOT count towards the giveaway.
This giveaway has now ended. Thank you so much to everyone who participate! :)
Hope you each have a fantastic day and a fabulous week!! As always, thank you so much for stopping by my blog and spending some of your time with me. I truly appreciate your visits! :)
Welcome to the latest monthly Blog Hop from DeNami Design! You should be joining me from Carol Hartery's fabulous blog. However, if you'd like to start from the beginning, feel free to stop by the DeNami blog for a full list of all of the participants.
This month's theme is "Lovely Layers"... which can be interpreted in many different ways. I chose to keep my card very SIMPLE. I left lots of free space, and the only main layers that I added to it, are the crochet string and the three popped-up hearts.
Well, I won't keep you guys long, because I know you have LOTS more fabulous blogs to visit for more fun inspiration. I hope you all enjoyed my "clean and simple" design today. Next up on the Blog Hop list is: Debbie Marcinkiewicz. Be sure to check out her beautiful creation, and don't forget to leave comments along the way of the hop, for your chance to be included in a giveaway to win fun prizes from DeNami.
Today I wanted to share the fact that DeNami Design is sponsering another challenge over on the Embellish Blog again. The theme is to make a Nautical Card. Just check out the fun new color combo below:
And if you need some more inspiration, be sure to stop by the DeNami blog today, to see what the other talented DT girls have created.
Hope you guys all have fantastic weekend! Hopefully you'll find some time to play along in the Embellish Nautical Challenge!
HeLLo Everyone! Happy 4th of July!!! I hope you have all been enjoying the nice long weekend. I celebrated my birthday on Friday, which was a lot of fun, but also pretty hectic. I've been spending lots of my time with family and friends this weekend. Thus, I have definitely been really busy.... but in a good way. :)
Today I am sharing a new fun birthday card that I made for the latest Lawnscaping Challenge #13- "Don't Forget the Inside!" This week's challenge is all about decorating the INSIDE of a card and more specifically: we are being sponsored by Karen Burniston, who is the designer of Sizzix Pop-Up Dies.
Here's a pic of the front of my card. As you can see, I left it very simple, being that I was planning to make the inside of it a lot busier than usual.
I used THIS pop-up die from Sizzix, in order to make the cake stand up towards the front.
It might be a bit hard to see in the pictures, but I also used clear ACETATE on the second level of the pop-up die, in order to make some of the smaller stars appear to be floating.
I've added the following two close-up pics so that you can hopefully see the acetate better!
Hope you guys enjoyed my card. I definitely had a lot of fun putting it together.
Don't forget to check out the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog for some more amazing samples from the rest of the DT, and also to read about all of the details on how you can join in on the "Don't Forget the Inside" Challenge. I hope you'll get inspired to play along with us!!!
