Hello Sweet Friends!... Today I am sharing a new "Stamp of the Week" from Repeat Impressions. This week's image is called the "Divi-Divi Tree", and it's actually one of my favorite RI images. You may remember when I used it a while back on THIS one-layer card. I think the tree is so unique and has such a calm feel to it.
Here is just a quick glimpse at how I created the background of this card:
As you can see, I masked off the bottom portion in order to create horizon of the scene. I then took sponge daubers of different sizes and used them to apply those three shades of Distress Inks in order to create my sunset.
I probably should have taken more pictures throughout my process so that I could have shown you what I did step-by-step. I will try to remember to do so next time. But hopefully you are able to get a general idea from the picture above. If any of you have any questions, please don't ever hesitate to ask me!
Please be sure to check out the Repeat Impressions Blog today for more fun samples with the Divi-Divi Tree image and also to get details on how you can get this stamp at 50% off.
Hope you all have a fabulous week! Thanks for reading!
