I did a little bit of masking and sponging to my card, and also added a few pearls. However for the most part, I left it fairly simple. I hope you guys enjoy it.

This month's theme is "Lovely Layers"... which can be interpreted in many different ways. I chose to keep my card very SIMPLE. I left lots of free space, and the only main layers that I added to it, are the crochet string and the three popped-up hearts.

Fabulous Frames Blog Hop

For my card, I chose to make an actual frame using the Three Line Border stamp (one of my favorites lately), and I added the string and brad at the top in order to make it appear as though it was an acutal frame hanging on a wall. :)

Some FUN News!

Hiii Friends! :)

Just wanted to take some time to share some fun news that I have been excited about for the past month or so....

As most of you now, I have been a part of the DeNami Design Team since last May, 2010. DeNami was sweet enough to take a bit of a chance on me when I had only recently started stamping/blogging and my blog was only three months old, at the time.

I have absolutely LOVED working with DeNami and the fabulous group of ladies on the DT and I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to continue working with them on their next upcoming Design Team too. Yaaayyy!!! :)

The next six months are going to be LOTS of fun and I am super excited to be a part of such a talented group of girls! Check them out for yourself, if you haven't already:

DeNami Design Team Announcement!

Hiii Everyone! =)

Today I am super excited because I have an announcement to share with you all. 

I am officially going to be part of the 2010 DeNami Design Team!

 

  Yaayyy! I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be part of such an amazing group of girls.

I love the DeNami Design stamp company and I have been following their design team since I started my blog.

They always provide fabulous inspiration and I am beyond excited to work with them!

In honer of today, I would also like to share one of the recent cards I made using the some DeNami stamps:

  

I made this card using the Ice Cream Sundae stamp from DeNami Design. I stamped it three different times in order to make layers and pop it up with dimensionals. I just love the 3-D effect! =) 

And to top it off, I just added glitter and red Stickles to the ice cream scoop, and then added the "appropriate" sentiment: "Here's the Scoop"!

Embellish Parties Color Challenge & Design Team Announcement!

Hello Everyone! =)

I hope you all have been having a great week so far. I have lots to share today! 

First off, I would like to share the wedding card above that I made for the Embellish Parties Color Challenge which is currently being sponsored by DeNami Design. The challenge was to create a project using the specified colors (shown below) of red, white, black, & kraft.

 

For this card, I decided to use the Martha Stewart Loop Punch around the border and I also embossed the white background with the Swiss Dots folder in my Cuttlebug. I also added pop-dots, red Stickles, and rhinestones in order to embellish the cake.

This was a super fun challenge to play along with, and I definitely encourage you all to join in and play along as well! =)
