Hello Everyone! Welcome to DeNami Design's very first Blog Hop! I'm super excited to be a part of this hop today. The theme for today's hop is POLKA DOTS! The hop starts over on the DeNami Design Blog. So be sure to stop by there first, in order to get all of the fun details.
If you're coming from Ashley Cannon Newell's blog, then you're on the right track. Your next stop for the blog hop will be listed at the bottom of this post.
Ok, so let's get started on my project for today!.....
If you haven't already noticed... I guess you could say that I was definitely in a "Halloween" mood when I was creating my project for the hop. I decided to use THIS template from DeNami Design, in order to make these "Halloween Treat Bags". The only change I made to the template was that I cut off top handles and then just added on my own, by using a strip of black cardstock.
These treat bags were super simple and fun to make. I used the new Polka Dot Background stamp in order to create the backgrounds for each of the colored layers. I also used various Halloween images from the most recent DeNami Design release, in order to decorate the bags. I just love the major "cuteness" of these little spiders and the pumpkin!.... They definitely make me look forward to Halloween! :)
I think these little bags would be perfect to serve as party favors or gifts at a Halloween party. Another idea would be to fill them up with candy and give them out to family and friends. I'm sure there are numerous other ideas that one can come up with for these little bags.
The Polka Dot Background image is definitely one of my all-time favorite stamps from DeNami Design. So I was indeed very excited when I first found out that the theme for this hop was going to be Polka-Dots! Although I chose to go with a Halloween theme for my project today, I could have also easily chosen to use this same template and the Polka Dot image for another holiday as well. I'm sure I will be making more little treat bags for other occasions in the near future. They just never get old, in my opinion. :)
**Just a quick side note:** ---> I decided to get a little creative when I was taking my pictures, and I ended up making this display (shown below), just to show how fun it would be to present these as favors for a party and/or other events of that sort. Just thought I'd share! :)
Ok, well THAT'S IT, for me! :) I sure hope you enjoyed my fun Polka-Dot Halloween project for today.
