Today, I am just sharing the newest Theme Challenge from DeNami Design. This month's theme is any card that showcases ANIMALS!... Sounds fun, huh?

For my card, as you can see above, I chose to go with a holiday theme so that I could use the adorable Puppy in a Stocking image from the most recent stamp release.

I meant to write up this post earlier, but I actually didn't wake up until the afternoon today. LOL... My family happens to celebrate Christmas Eve, so we were up late partying until 7am, and thus I slept for most of the day today. Wishing You the Coolest Christmas Ever!... and "List of Fours"

Hello All,

Here's another holiday card that I made a while back using one of the fun penguin images from Repeat Impressions. I just love creating "winter" scenes for these little guys. :)

Torendi "Holiday" Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! So today I am participating in the Torendi Blog Hop. I recently won a gift certificate from my sweet blog friend, Amy Tsuruta to shop at the Torendi store. (Thanks, Amy!) So I was excited to be invited to join this blog hop today, because it gave me a chance to use some of my new stuff!

I ended up using this kit, called "Bright". So almost everything on my cards today (paper, ribbon, foam letters) is from that same kit in the Torendi store. Unfortunately, this kit is currently sold out right now. However, if you check out the rest of the kits in the Torendi Kit Selection, you'll see that they have various other fun kits to choose from too. 

I will admit, it was actually a bit difficult for me to come up with a holiday idea for these cards, being that the kit that I was using was not really a holiday theme. However, I do always love a challenge! So I really enjoyed working with the fun foam letters and the pretty ribbons and papers that were all included in the kit that I ordered.

I know you all have lots of blogs to visit today, so I won't ramble on with too many details. My tags are pretty basic. I used DeNami border images to create two different background patterns on the kraft bases of my tags. Then, after adding my focal points, I added some ribbons, twine, sentiments, etc., and also made sure to distress my edges. Christmas Stockings

Hi Guys! :)

Ok, so this is going to be a super quick post today. I've been slacking lately and I just haven't been able to post as much as I would like to, other than DT posts. Today i'm just sharing a Lawn Fawn holiday card that I made about a month ago. I used the stockings from the Cozy Christmas set and just strung them on some twine. Here's a close-up shot of my coloring and extreme "fussy cutting" too. LoL... 

Oh and I'll point out a tiny mistake that I made too. Do you see the openings of the stockings? Notice how I forgot to add color to the opening of the first stocking. Haha... Ooops!... I didn't notice until after I had already taken the pictures. But I figured it wasn't that big of a deal, so I just decided to leave it alone.

There are a few other holiday cards that I have been meaning to post, but I have just been so busy like always. But my classes are ending this week, so as soon as i'm done with the three finals that I have to take (Ahhh!)... I should be able to get caught up with posting all of my cards.
