Hello Friends!!! =)
Today I am excited to be sharing a project with you that is NOT a card!... Yup, that's right. I don't have a card for today. Instead of a card, I am sharing a small assortment of party favors that I made using the small gift bag template from DeNami Design.
DeNami has chosen to do their "product challenge" this month using their templates. Let me just tell you that these templates are super fun to work with and they are also so very simple to use! All of the cutting marks and scor lines are clear and easy to follow! All you really have to worry about is the "decorating"... which of course, is the best part! :)
So for my project, I decided to go with the a "baby shower" theme. I grabbed a few pastel colors and stamped tone-on-tone images from the DeNami Baby Stamp Set.Then, once I assembled the bags, I wrapped around some chocolate brown sheer ribbon and added the adorableTeddy Bear and Baby Script... I ended up with this:
I was truly amazed at how simple they were to assemble! You can fill these bags up with anything you'd like. And even though I used them for a baby-shower theme, they could also be used for various other occasions as well. I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend so far! My weekend has been very relaxing. I actually had the day off from work yesterday, which I enjoyed very much. I slept for most of the day. But when I finally woke up, I caught up with a few things around the house that I have been meaning to take care of lately. So that was nice. Then, at night, I went out for dinner and a movie with two of my close girlfriends. It's always fun to set aside some "girl-time" in your life!
Ok, well i'm done blabbering about my weekend so far. Haha... hope I didn't lose any of you! I really appreciate you all for reading my post and checking out my blog from time to time. Lately I have been a bit behind with my Google Reader, so I haven't gotten the chance to comment as much as i'd like. But I definitely plan on catching up soon, because I really do love to give comments, just as much as I love receiveing them. Plus I loveee checking out other people's creations!
