Lawnscaping Challenge #27: Inspiration Photo

Have any of you ever noticed just how many HEARTS there are amongst the Lawn Fawn Sets???.... Well, there is definitely A LOT!!!... I actually ended up using seven different sets in order to create my home-made pattern paper for my two cards today.....

Both of my cards are for the latest Lawnscaping Challenge #27. The theme is to make a card based on the inspiration photo below:

Naturally, the photo is perfect for Valentine's Day, which is just around the corner! :) So I urge you guys to try to play along. As you can see, I made two versions of my card, using all the various little HEARTS that I found amongst the Lawn Fawn sets. Tell me... Which card do you prefer most? The first or the second? I'd love to read your thoughts!

I never got around to announcing the fact that I was going here on my blog. I will post some pics from my trip soon. I had A LOT of fun and I met SO many wonderful people. DeNami Sketch Challenge #7- "I Love You"

Hey Sweet Friends!... I'm back with my second post for the day. Please scroll down for my Lawnscaping Challenge card.

Today is the start of another fun DeNami Sketch Challenge. This time, the sketch was made up by my very talented friend, Michele. I chose to interpret the sketch a little bit differently than some might expect. 

As you can see in the picture above, I made my card vertical instead of horizontal, and I also chose to substitute the rectangular shape for a circular doily. I hope you can still recognize the overall layout in my card.

Three Hearts....

MY CASE Card

Hello Everyone! Happy Wednesday!

If you've been following my blog for a while, then you already know that I feature a new CASE Challenge from Rpeat Impressions every other week, right?... Well, guess what! Today is MY Turn to be featured as the CASE mule for the current challenge. Yay!

I decided to keep my card layout very simple. I didn't want to add too many details, otherwise it would be harder to follow. I sure hope some of you will be inspired to CASE my card from today and post it over on the Repeat Impressions blog.

DeNami Valentine's Day Card

Hey Blog Readers! Happy Friday!!!.... I'm so happy that the weekend is finally almost here. My week has been pretty busy, so I'm looking forward just relaxing and hopefully getting some things done on my To-Do List. What are some of your plans for the weekend??

Well, today I just wanted to share another Valentine's Day card that I recently made for the both the WeeMemories Challenge #42: "Dust Off Those Scraps"and the Just Add Ink Challenge #55: "Just Add Love".

Here are some close-up images of my card. I decided to use the sentiment as the main focal point, simply by stamping it several times and by using different colors of ink.

I also did the "ruffled ribbon technique", which is always so fun to do, and I always seem to love the end result. Hope you guys like it too!

Hero Arts Vday Cards

Hey Everyone! :) Hope you all are having a fabulous week so far. 

Just wanted to share a couple of Valentine's Day cards that I made recently. 

I'm entering this first one into the Color Throwdown#128. I guess it could be used as more than just a Valentine's Day card. The sentiment is pretty general, so it could also be used for other occasions as well. 

This next card, shown above, is for the OTWC Challenge #44. It's been a long time since I've been able to participate in one of Kim's challenges. She always has such fabulous color combos and I'm always wishing I had more time to play along. But I'm so busy with life lately, that it's hard for me to find the free time. So I'm happy that I'm able to enter this week, at least.

Product Spotlight: "With All My Heart"

Good Morning Everyone! Today I have a new Product Spotlight to share with you all from DeNami Design. This month, we are featuring this sweet sentiment titled: "With All My Heart". It's perfect for any upcoming Valentine cards that you might be working on. However it is definitely not limited to just that! This sentiment can also be used for any other occasion, just simply to tell someone how much you care. :)

For my card, I paired the sentiment up with the one of the newly released stamp sets that had the particular heart shown above. I also used two different colors of ink in order to stamp my own pattern paper. Hope you guys like it!

DeNami Product Challenge #6- TWINE

HeLLooo Sweet Friends! Happy Monday!

I have a new Product Challenge to share with you all today from DeNami Design. This month we are featuring TWINE. Yay!.... I'm sure many of you have noticed just how popular twine has become in the World of Paper Crafts. It comes in several different fun colors and it's so versatile. That's why I know many of you are going to LOVE this new challenge!

For my card, I chose to use the twine in order to make the bird houses appear to be hanging.

This was super fun and easy to create! :)

I sure hope you guys get inspired to play along in this month's Product Challenge! It's lots of fun!... Here are a few details to remember, when submitting your entry:

~ Please list any colors from "The Twinery", if you happen to use their twine.

I Love You "Beary" Much!

Happy Monday Everyone!.... Just sharing a new "Stamp of the Week" from Repeat Impressions for this week. Being that Valentine's Day is just around the corner, this "Bear with Heart" image is perfectly appropriate for the upcoming holiday. 

I masked off the center bear in order to create the illusion that the two other bears were standing behind the middle bear. I just love masking! It's one of my favorite techniques. Then paired up with some red Stickles, and that's all there is to it. :)
